Physiotherapy for the elderly provides specialist management for a range of conditions associated with ageing. We deliver this service to you in your own home. This can be in your care home, residential living, day hospital, or in a community setting.We cater for all of your needs and can help you regain your independence and improve your quality of life.

We accept referrals in a variety of ways:

WHAT DOES AN INITIAL ASSESSMENT INVOLVE?

An initial assessment may take up to an hour. You may also have a person accompany you while we complete the assessment. Depending on your needs we will require access to your home environment to assess if you are currently optimised or if equipment may be recommended. 

Depending on your complaint you may be required to remove clothing to assess the area of complaint. Your physiotherapist will ask questions about your problem, past medical history and also your current medication. Depending on your complaint your physiotherapist may look at your strength, joint range of movement, posture, coordination, functional ability, mobility, and walking qaulity.
